La Clairière du Moulin is located in the Department of Savoy in the foothills of the French Alps between the villages of Aiguebelette Le Lac and Lépin Le Lac adjacent to Lake Aiguebelette. It is situated 20 km, or 15-20 minutes, west of Chambéry, 25 minutess south of the Spa town of Aix-Les-Bains, 45 minutes south of Annecy, 50 minutes north of Grenoble, and an hour east of Lyon. 

La Clairière du Moulin makes a great stopover place for journeys to the Alps, being situated just 10 minutes drive from the A43 following the banks of Lake Aiguebelette.  However, Lake Aiguebelette and its surrounding environment is a destination in itself, particularly popular in the summer months. 

Situated in 4.5 ha of parkland and forest at the foot of the spectacular Massif de l’Epine on the edge of the Chartreuse Regional Park, La Clairière du Moulin looks out over the emerald green waters of Lake Aiguebelette, a little over a kilometre away.
